The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida, was founded in 1988 with financial assistance from the Birla Group of Companies and under the auspices of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture. Seven doctorate and postgraduate programs are available through the institute. For PGDM programs, BIMTECH Greater Noida provides admissions based on test scores for the CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, and CMAT, followed by a personal interview. The institute just finished its placement process, and the highest foreign and domestic salaries were, respectively, Rs. 24.67 LPA and Rs. 18 LPA. Several exams, including the CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, and GMAT, are used to determine admission. For the CAT, XAT, GMAT, and CMAT, the predicted cutoff for admission to the PGDM program is 75.
There are four stages to the BIMTECH admission process. Candidates must register on the website in order to move on to the next level. Based on their profiles, candidates are chosen for the second stage and contacted for a personal interview (PI) and document verification. The final merit list was released by BIMTECH in the third stage and is based on the candidate’s overall performance in entrance exam scores, PI, past academic performance, and work experience. The third stage sees the release of another interview shortlist based on the best percentiles in exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, & MAT.

Birla Institute of Management Technology Scholarships
Scholarships are offered by BIMTECH to its meritorious students. At BIMTECH, a number of scholarships are offered. No of the course they are admitted to, all admitted candidates from the merit category who scored at least 85 percent on the CAT, XAT, or GMAT are eligible for a scholarship worth Rs. 2,00,000 apiece in the form of a partial waiver of fees.
Awards from the Madhuri & Jagdish Sheth Endowment
Emory University Professor Jagdish Sheth, Professor Emeritus (Marketing Area), has given INR 5.00.000 to BIMTECH to establish two Scholarships. BIMTECH has added another INR 5.00.000 to the endowment, bringing the total to INR 10,00,000. This endowment will be used to fund two scholarships based on the interest earned. The Award Ceremony takes place during the Institute’s Annual Convocation.
Doctoral Theses submitted and evaluated during the Academic Year (Cutoff Date – February of Every Year) are Eligible for the Scholarship of Amount INR 50,000. Jagdish N Sheth Award for Best PhD Thesis at BIMTECH.
Madam Madhuri J Sheth Award for BIMTECH Female Toppers: BIMTECH Scholarship
Students in BIMTECH with first- and second-year CGPAs will be evaluated based on their performance through the sixth term. Female Toppers receive an award of INR 50,000. Both the PGDM and PGDM (IB) courses cost INR 25,000 each.
Late Sarala Birla Award for Female Doctoral Students in BIMTECH from Developing Countries
For three consecutive years, BIMTECH students are eligible for a scholarship worth INR 1,00,000 per year.
Birla Institute of Management Technology Placements
BIMTECH successfully placed every applicant during its 2024 placement drive, which it finished. Over a hundred recruiters came to the school. Information, ICICI Bank, Reliance Retail, Wipro Ltd., and The Smart Cube were among the top employers. During the placement drive, more than 400 students were eligible. Numerous work positions were given to students, including those in consulting, associate consulting, senior analysis, credit management, and area sales management.
The average pay for students was INR 9.38 LPA, a 16.2% increase over the previous year. The highest domestic salary was INR 18 LPA, while the highest international salary was INR 24.67 LPA. Comparing this year to last, the highest domestic wage climbed by 12.5%.
